Finding Miracles

Finding Miracles by Julia Alvarez is about a teenage girl named Milly, who lives in Vermont in the United States of America. Throughout the book I learned about Milly's past and current struggles.

I haven't read it in forever, but it was one of my favourites in middle school. I absolutely recommend it for anyone not quite old enough for YA books, but mature enough to handle darker subject material.
